January can be a dreary month as festivities are over, hectic work overtakes our lives yet again and our bodies are feeling tired and depleted. It’ still cold outside, so the heating is on and our poor skin gets dehydrated-so far, not a pretty picture, hence my some of my beauty suggestions below:
Bliss: this month saw the launch of its ‘Fabulous every day eye cream’ that aims to:
1. Lock in the moisture of the under the eye area (the skin there is particularly thin and more prone to dryness as we age or don’t drink enough fluid, particularly at this time of the year).
2. Protect the area with antioxidants
3. Helps to brighten the look of dark circles.
I have been using it for about a week so far but have noticed that the area under the eye looks brighter and less dry. I have a tiny line under one of the eyes and so far no cream has managed to sort it out-this one just might be my solution judging by the result so far.
p.s it’s suitable for all skin types. 15mls, £24.60
Sundari: this range anti-age skincare range was launched several years ago. I have been using their healing ‘Neem and manuka body cleanser in the shower lately and not only does it smell nice but it helps the skin to maintain its vitality and feel nurtured as honey is known for its anti-bacterial properties.

Neal’s Yard: I have been taking their ‘Organic beauty oil’ for a while now and can vouch that it really makes a difference to your hair, skin and nails-after all how many of us are sure that we take enough of omega fatty acids daily, which are so important for our state of health?
This formulation consists of organic golden flaxseed oil, hemp oil, avocado oil, evening primrose oil and pumpkin seed oils. You can add it to your salad or juice or drizzle over veggies or pasta. I tend to either take it straight or add it to my morning bowl of porridge.
£11.95 for 200 mls
